Team of the Season (TOTS) has officially launched in EA Sports FC Mobile 26! This is one of the biggest and most exciting events of the year, kicking off on April 23, 2026, and running for 42 days until June 3, 2026. With a brand-new reward system, returning shards, and player OVRs pushing all the way up to 120, TOTS 2026 completely changes how you build your ultimate squad. Whether you’re a free-to-play grinder or a premium player chasing meta cards, this guide breaks everything down step by step so you can maximize your rewards without wasting time or resources.

Key New Features in TOTS 2026
TOTS 2026 introduces two game-changing systems that make progression more strategic and less RNG-dependent than previous years.
1. The Triple Formula System
This is the core reward mechanic of the entire event. Instead of random packs or simple exchanges, you now combine three types of Tags to filter and claim exactly the kind of players you want:League Tags – Lock in a specific league (e.g., Premier League, La Liga).
Ligue 1 Chapter
This week sees the chance to gain position specific tags as well as ovr tags
Swap the following to claim 119 TOTS Moments LB Hernández:
OVR Tags – Set a minimum overall rating (e.g., 114+, 116+). It will always display the highest possible rewards you can earn. See below:
Custom Tags – Unlocked after your first 5 claims; lets you target positions/roles (Attackers, Midfielders, Defenders, or special “Moments” players).
How it works in practice:
Apply a League Tag + OVR Tag + Custom Tag → the game narrows the reward pool and lets you claim a player that matches your filters. Every successful claim moves you along a milestone path. Hit 40 claims in an available chapter and you’re guaranteed a 117 OVR UTOTS player for free.
2. Star Signings & Star Shards
Shards are back – and they’re better than ever! Star Signings let you directly claim any TOTS player you want using Star Shards (no more pure luck). This is a massive win for players who hate RNG. How to earn Star Shards:Daily tasks (steady ~100 shards per day).
Releasing unwanted TOTS players (higher OVR = more shards).
Event quests, chapter rewards, and Division Rivals.
Converting old Phase 2 Tokens (1 token = 15 Star Shards).
Shard Conversion Rates for Released TOTS Players
The table below shows how many Star Shards you receive when you release unwanted TOTS players of each OVR range. This is not the cost to sign players via Star Signings (signing costs are variable depending on the specific player and chapter availability). Use these released shards as fuel to buy the players you actually want.

Progression is built around consistent daily play rather than one massive grind:
Division Rivals:
Up to 9 Tags per day 3 per mode– your most reliable source of League/OVR Tags.
League Chapters:
Play AI matches and skill games (new ones unlock weekly). Rewards include Tags, Tokens, Rank-Up Points, and Draft Vouchers.
Milestone Path:
Every claim in the Triple Formula advances you toward big guaranteed rewards.
TOTS Badge System:
Upgrade your badge for permanent stat boosts (Reactions, Long Shots, Vision, Strength, and potentially +1 OVR at max level).
Main Event Chapters & Modes
TOTS Main Chapter:
Central hub with Triple Formula, Star Pass access, and weekly player pools.
Premier League Chapter:
League-specific AI matches with increasing difficulty. Complete objectives for Tags, Tokens, and exchange items. Each league has their own currency (TOTS Token A, B, C etc) use these to claim rewards from the respective leagues exchange store
Bundesliga Chapter:
Complete 3 Skill games and watch 1 advert for a daily total of 350 TOTS Token B
This chapter features real word connected objectives:

3 Goals for Star Signings Shards
5 Goals for Draft tickets
This is for matchweek 32 & prizes can be claimed 07/05/2026
The 3 players don't have to score 1/3/5 each, just 1/3/5 total combined between the 3 players.
This then repeats for matchweek 33 & matchweek 34, with rewards available on the 14/05/2026 & 21/05/2026
Ligue 1 Chapter
The Ligue 1 Chapter is similar to the Premier League Chapter. Play a match vs AI with requirements based on the highlighted player (for example Joao Neves, Win the Match, Score with a Midfielder & Score a hat-trick)
Draft Mode:
Improved guarantees – you now need only 70 Draft Vouchers for top Pool A rewards (down from previous events). Great safety net if shards are low. Each week features a new player pool to match that weeks TOTS featured Leagues
Exchange Section:
Exchange 110 - 113 OVR players for Rank Up Points or use higher OVR for exclusive exchange players, starting in week 1 with 119 Gyokeres
Gyokeres Exchange:
Swap the following to claim 119 TOTS Moments ST Gyokeres:
- 1 x 119 TOTS Player
- 1 x 118 TOTS Player
Hernández Exchange:
- 1 x 119 TOTS Player
- 1 x 118 TOTS Player
Kvaratskhelia Exchange:
Swap the following to claim 119 TOTS LW Kvaratskhelia:

Star Pass Rewards:
The Star Pass is stacked this year, There are at least 2 Passes with each lasting 21 days, it is still unknown if there will be a UTOTS specific Pass
Free Track:
Gems, Draft Vouchers, Rank-Up Points, and more.
Premium Track (FC Points):
Headliner reward is 118 OVR Eric Cantona (pre-ranked to 123 OVR). Also includes extra gems, vouchers, and rank-up items.
Even F2P players get solid value from the free path.

Extra time is back with a couple of new TOTS Features, including a TOTS Scout and a TOTS quiz, where you need to pick which player is being described from a choice of 2

TOTS 2026 Event – TOTS Scout Tutorial
Swipe or use the arrows to scroll through the official in-game "How to Play" tutorial for the Clue Reveal system (part of the TOTS event mystery player items).
Step 1/6: Tap the REVEAL button (costs start from 50) to perform a Clue Reveal of the Mystery Player Item.
Step 2/6: Once purchased, pick any clue box to reveal information about the player.
Step 3/6: Swipe the selected clue box to reveal the clue.
Step 4/6: Clue revealed – Example: Team = Manchester United. Possible rewards update in real-time.
Step 5/6: Tap the Purchase button (1,500) to fully reveal the Mystery Player Item.
Step 6/6: Use manual refreshes or wait for the auto-refresh timer. Continue to complete the event.

Trivia Time
Starting with Premier League, you can play Trivia time 5 x Daily. This is where you earn currency to be spent in TOTS Scout. You are given a Club, Nationality & Position to guess which player is being described with a choice of 2 players to choose the right answer from. Depending how many questions you get right you will earn the following amount of TOTS Scout Tokens:
- Tier 1 - 1,500 points - Reward = 125 Tokens
- Tier 2 - 5,000 points - Reward = 125 Tokens
- Tier 3 - 12,000 points - Reward = 125 Tokens
- Tier 4 - 20,000 points - Reward = 125 Tokens
- Tier 5 - 30,000 points - Reward = 125 Tokens
