Grassroots Greats Event Guide

The Grassroots Greats event in FC Mobile kicks off on August 14, 2025, and wraps up after 14 days on August 28, 2025. This side event runs alongside the tail end of Ragnarok and spotlights the inspiring paths of players who climbed from humble beginnings to stardom. You'll dive into stories of six key figures, earn special currencies through challenges, and snag high-OVR players via exchanges and milestones. It's a compact event packed with daily grind opportunities, making it ideal for boosting your squad without a massive time sink. Info Event Structure and Progression
Think of this as a multi-layered adventure with interconnected chapters. Start in the Main hub for an overview and milestones, then branch out to earn currencies and unlock rewards. Grassroots Greats Tokens (GG Tokens)

Your main fuel for unlocking stories and upgrades in the Greats Stories chapter. Earn them daily through Road to Greats activities.
Grassroots Greats Shards (GG Shards)

Essential for claiming players in the Gallery. Get them from milestones, exchanges, and other rewards.

Grassroots Greats Pass Points (GG Pass Points)

Build these up in Road to Greats and Greats Stories to advance the mini pass.

Grassroots Greats Glory Points (GG Glory Points).

Collected via daily tasks (4 points daily), to be used in the from grass to glory section in "featured" section

This area is where you collect your milestone rewards. "Great" is for completing all milestones and rewards 500 x Gems, 5 Million coins & 20 Grassroots Shards.
"Great Stories" milestones are for Unlocking 2 Grassroots Greats Players in the roster (Reward - 10 Shards),
Unlocking 4 Grassroots Greats Players in the roster (Reward - 20 Shards & 1000 Gems) & Unlocking 6 Grassroots Greats Players to the roster (30 Shards & 300 Training Transfer Points)

Road to Greats




This is your daily hub for grinding. Tackle skill games and matches to rack up 70 GG Tokens, 100 Gems, 150,000 Coins, and 200 GG Pass Points each day. Milestones here offer bonus shards (20-30), coins (20,000-50,000), and even a Universal Rank-Up Player (URP) like Mascherano. It's straightforward—log in, play, and stockpile for the rest of the event.

2 Matches - 50 gems & 20 GG Shards
1 completion of the Road to Greats - 1 Mascherano & 30 Shards
4 Skill Games - 50k coins & 20 GG Shards

6 Skill Games - 80k coins & 20 GG Shards

Greats Stories





Here, you spend those GG Tokens (100 Tokens to unlock each player on the roster) to unlock and complete stories for six Grassroots Greats

Edit skill talents and fortitude points, and then spend Grassroots Greats tokens to unlock various stories and claim rewards. Different combinations of skill and fortitude points, unlocks different players stories

Each unlock nets you 1 million Coins, 200 Gems, and 300 GG Pass Points.

Unlock all Grassroots Greats rewards to unlock the final milestone in this chapter - either - 1 x Mascherano URP, 107 Ivan Toney or a 105-111 Grassroots Greats Player.

From Grass to Glory





This can be found outside the event itself in the "Featured" Section of the game (on home screen)
Focus on daily tasks to earn GG Glory Points—Completing a set number like 1, 4, 7, 11, 15, 19, 22, 25 & 28 points over the event. Redeem points for rewards such as 500,000 Coins (1 point), 300 Gems (7 points), URP Mascherano (11 points & 22 points), a Grassroots Greats Pack (15 points), or 20 GG Shards (25 points). You'll also get ST Tevez at various OVRs: 102 (2 points), 104 (19 points), or 106 (28 points). Each version of Tevez has Blue rank (+ 2 player ovr). They don't work in the shard exchange but serve another purpose! Grassroots Greats Exchange






Use the Tevez items you have collected to complete the exchange for a 110 ovr version of Tevez. Requirements as follows:

Earn GG Pass Points from Road to Greats and story unlocks to climb this mini pass. The pinnacle reward is a Rank 4 110 OVR CB Cordoba—perfect for bolstering your defense. (Premium/Paid version only). Other rewards are available for non paying players. Access to this can be found in the main section
For efficiency, aim to unlock all six stories: That's 6 x 1M Coins = 6M total, plus 6 x 200 Gems = 1,200 Gems. Daily Road to Greats gives 70 Tokens, but you'll need 100 for each story unlock, so plan ahead and don't miss days to avoid bottlenecks. Gallery
