Aqua vs Inferno
Event Guide
Event Overview:
(June 12 – early July · 28 days)
A month-long rivalry event where you align with Team Aqua (blue) or Team Inferno (red) to complete parallel chapters for tokens, rewards, and exclusive Icon/Hero cards. Aqua is 109 RW Maradona & Inferno is 109 ST Pelé
1. Main Chapter
Join a side: Decide between Aqua or Inferno at the start.
Weekly tasks (x4): Complete each week’s objectives to earn 5 shards (→ 20 shards total each week) and unlock a themed logo—Zanetti for Aqua or Maldini for Inferno
Token milestones (Aqua vs Inferno tokens):
100 → 100k coins
500 → 500 gems
1k → 300 Training Transfer Tokens
2k → 1,000 gems
3k → 2 Mascherano cards

2. Skill Master Chapter
Play skill games daily: Tap “Draw 5 Games” to access 5 Aqua/Inferno-themed games.
Token rewards:
- 90 tokens per game → 450 tokens daily
- Complete all 5 → +50 bonus tokens
Combo rewards:
- 3 same-type = 20 tokens
- 4 same = 5 shards
- 5 same = 50 tokens
Star system:
Earn up to 15 stars daily (3/game) to unlock bigger milestones:
- 15→15 shards
- 45→10 M coins
- 90→2 Mascherano
- 180→30 shards
- 280→Eto’o logo + 1 Mascherano + 500 gems
This update sees the reintroduction of the Star System. The better you do in the skill games, the more stars you get!

3 Pair Up (added week 3)
Pair up was added in Week 3 and is useful to those who need to earn extra Aqua vs Inferno Tokens:
Play 1 vs AI match daily to unlock 2 attempts at flip a tile.
Winning the match gives you 50 Aqua vs Inferno Tokens and then unlocks your 2 tries at flipping the tile. Group Inferno unlocks Week 3 Group Aqua unlocks Week 4 (3rd June 2025 UTC)
The 2 turns you get for flip a tile is 2 x flipping 2 tiles. The target is to match 2 of the same player. If you match a player you get the prize under that tile (coins, URPS, Gems etc). If you don't match 2 players then you "Flip Back" resetting the tiles on the board you haven't matched yet
Pro tip: Screenshot each turn before you hit flip back so you know where you have already tried and whoch player is behind that til.
- Match 1 - 150 Tokens
- Match 3 - 250 Tokens
- Match 5 - 500 Tokens
- Match 10 - 600 Tokens
4. Reward Chapter (Tifo Workshop):
- Use your Aqua/Inferno tokens to "paint" tiles and collect vouchers. Cost per box is 100 tokens per box and give 1 voucher. Expect for the middle 4 boxes which cost 500 tokens and give 2 vouchers
- Redeem these for progression through a reward track that includes gems, shards, packs, and Mascherano.
- Final reward: Choose between a 106 OVR Maldini or 106 OVR Zanetti card upon completion.
5. Gallery Chapter
- Shard shop: Weekly Icon/Hero cards (e.g. Eden Hazard, Samuel Eto’o, Fabio Cannavaro) become available via shard redemption
- New cards drop weekly as the event progresses

Gameplay & Rivals Changes
This event arrives alongside a major Division Rivals overhaul:
- Visually refreshed menu, revamped season cycles
- New Stars + Bonus Points progression (Wins = +1 Star +3 BP; Draw = 0 Star +2 BP; Loss = –1 Star +1 BP)
- Star Shields to protect rank
- Relegation system, daily prizes, weekly leaderboards, and themed locker-room logos
- Collect 20 Aqua vs Inferno Tokens for each division rivals vsa and manager mode match you win, up to 5 times a day. So a total of 5 x 20 (100) for vsa, 5 x 20 (100) for manager mode. Head to Head matches give 40 tokens so 5 x 40 (200) for a total of 400 tokens per day
- Star Pass rewards: Aqua/Inferno-themed items included
- In‑game store: Event packs and gem bundles updated frequently
- Daily consistency on skill games to collect max tokens and stars.
- Finish weekly tasks to stack shards (80 total).
- Push tokens into Tifo Workshop early—incremental progress is key.
- Track community popularity—keep an eye on free gift bonuses.
- Plan shard spending: prioritize must-have Gallery cards; wait for weekly drops before cashing in.
